The "Scenes of Malaysia" exhibition is a showcase of watercolor paintings by nine former civil servants who are actively involved in the arts. A few of the participating artists have been involved in the visual art scene since many years ago. The former civil servants cum the artists involved are Tan Sri Datuk Seri Samsudin Osman - former Chief Secretary to the Government, Dato' Tengku Alaudin Tengku Abdul Majid - former Chief Secretary to the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, Hj. Md Sani Md Dom – former public relation officer, Dato' Hj. Mohd Yusoff Jaafar – former Commissioner of Police, Sarawak and Chief Police Officer, Trengganu, Hj. Mansor Ghazalli – former school art teacher, Dato' Mahsun Hj. Taib – former Perak Deputy State Secretary, Dr. Wong Seng Tong – former Associate Professor Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Senior Research Fellow, the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore , Professor Dr. Zakaria Ali - former Associate Professor in the History of Art, at the School of Art, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and Bhanu Achan - former teacher.
